MOMENTS OF CONNECTION

FREE

I spent a couple of days close to the temple of the Dalai Lama in North India (Dharamshala) where I met these Tibetan novice monks. 

These guys where full of live and joy. They didn't have any access to modern form of entertainment, instead they were playing and exercising outside. 

Suddenly, they started some crazy jumps while wearing flip flops! That's true freedom and confidence.

RAINBOW

The first rainbow I've seen from above was at Iguazu Waterfalls in Brazil. It's a magical place. 

The amount, sound and energy of the water makes you feel alive. Natural beauty everywhere, the sun creating colorful miracles in the dance of tiny water particles. 

I feel deep gratitude for the higher intelligence that created this miracle.

HAPPINESS

I met this farmer on Java, Indonesia. He was taking a break from his hard work and rolling a cigarette before lighting it.

I was fascinated by his charisma and radiance of contentment and joy. He was purely in the present moment. 

He is deeply connected with nature in his daily life, seemingly has a loving heart. A man that found peace with himself and life is truly inspiring.

TO THE LIGHT

I found this delicate little flower growing out of the abyss. Nature's power and creativity is fascinating. 

Till the horizon there was nothing but basalt rocks. Even in this desert, life finds a way to grow out of the dark into the light. 

PRAY

A sacred moment of prayer in an ancient pagoda in Bagan, Myanmar. 

I love the buddhist philosphy that encourages free thinking and contemplating about your own life experiences to reveal the truth. It's not about obedience, it's about self-reflection and love. 

Also the symbol of the lotus flower is beautiful. It rises out of the muddy waters towards the sun. Out of the darkness of the unconscio

FAITH

Even, if life seems hopeless sometimes, keep the faith. 

In the darkest moments, find the light within yourself and know, this too shall pass...

You will make it through the dark night of your soul and will find the ray of light that will transform your life and nourish your soul. 

Even in the desert, life can flourish.
